In addition, doctor may take some blood test and even urine test to know if your child may be having an infection caused by urinary tract infection. Some may suggest calling for surgeon if your child may need some surgery.

Should the doctors suggest that your child need to have surgery, a general anesthesia may be given to him to make the surgery becomes painless. As part of the surgery, the doctor may cut a small opening to his abdominal wall, to cut off the appendix from the large intestine and remove any build up fluid.

Appendicitis is simply the inflammation of the appendix, a small growth, hollow, finger-shaped organ at the end of the large intestine, near its juncture with the small intestine.
