Cold Sore is a viral infection that causes small blisters to appear about the area of the mouth, and usually it can cause illness accompanied by fever. Some people are also scared especially when they hear this illness because some recognize it as a virus related with genital herpes, a sexually transmitted disease.
This disease can contracted from saliva itself or from someone who has active sore. Cold sore usually can be gotten from adults to children from kissing them or maybe from child to child as they play together. In addition, by the time they wipe their mouths by their hands, the infection spread outside the mouth and sometimes even their hands may become infected itself. Cold sores also contracted usually by the time your child was in stress or after period of stress like fevers, sunburn or any injury occur to the mouth. The sores more often attack the same spot where it develops, it travels down deep in the body and hide their. However, by the time it reactivates especially in stress, it travels back again to the same spot where it was before.
Cold sores also called fever blisters; others get the infection and develop many sores around the mouth. Children having the disease may suffer from difficulty of swallowing their saliva or food; sometimes they may have poor appetite.
Preventing from cold sores may be difficult because many people are carriers of the virus without even knowing that they are carrying it. For your child, prevent him from;
