Child Autism Introduction and Treatment
Introduction:
Autism in children is a relatively rare form of childhood psychopathology. However, when it occurs the impact is truly profound, both in terms of severity refer to the continuing impact on the child, family, school and society. Few disorders are as devastating, fascinating and unique as the syndrome of autism. Child autism is a childhood disorder that usually occurs with a prevalence of 4/10.000 preferably in boys than in girls. The skills of an autistic child can be high or low depending on the level of IQ and verbal communication skills.
His clinic is:
* Marked lack of recognition of the existence or feelings of others.
* Absence of finding consolation in times of distress.
* Lack of ability to imitate.
* Absence of social game.
* Lack of adequate transport.
* Marked abnormality in the non-verbal communication.
* Absence of imaginative activity, like playing to be adults.
* Marked anomaly in the issuance of language impairment.
* Anomaly in the form and content of language.
* Stereotyped body movements.
* Persistent concern on the part of objects.
* Intense grief by insignificant changes in aspects of the environment.
* Unreasonable insistence to follow routines in full detail.
* Marked limitation of interest, with concentration on a particular interest.
The most outstanding feature is a look that transcends but does not look. It varies depending on the clinical stage of evolutionary development where we are. So we are in the infant with a babble of sound monotonous, stuttering late, it seems not to worry about the people or the environment, regardless or not the food or the contact. It remains rigid without body language or imitation of the adult. Does not follow the mother and can entertain a lot with a single object without actually understanding what it is. No significance attaches to the real world that surrounds them. In the pre-school, the autistic child is strange, do not speak. We assume the body is “me” and identify the others. No sample contact (physical, verbal, visual). Their responses are abnormal sensory (could not react to a big bang). At the school stage and would be a great achievement to have been able to enter school. In adolescence say that 1 / 3 of autism often suffer a seizure which suggests a possible cause nervous. In this age tend to have performances of a sexual nature such as exhibitions, hugging the girls on the street.
